The AC Hotel Detroit at the Bonstelle Theater

Virtuoso provided the millwork and upholstery package for the common spaces of the 153 room  boutique hotel located in Midtown Detroit. The 92,049 SF hotel features numerous amenity spaces styled with a Spanish Modernism motif. The millwork package includes the reception desk, lounge areas, workspace areas, market, kitchen and the conservatory.

The common spaces feature millwork, custom paneling, and trim in a dark stained rift sawn red oak. Walnut laminate ceiling panels create focal points in the lobby and lounge. The conservatory features bespoke upholstery, with luxe velvet channel back u shaped booths and surrounds, custom bar and shade canopy, and custom trim.

Check out our other work at the AC Hotel, Topa, the hotel’s rooftop bar and The Bonstelle Theater.
