Responsibilities include:

• High proficiency in a variety of power and hand tools, woodworking machinery, and maintenance setup.

• Knowledgeable of millwork and finish carpentry techniques. Metal fabrication or upholstery experience a bonus.

• Responsible for maintaining a clean workplace environment in compliance with company policy.

• Follows production schedule and performs all work in accordance with Company quality, security, safety plans, procedures, and standards.

• Performs all work in accordance with Company standards and safety requirements: Wears required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, and optional PPE such as hearing and breathing protection depending on tasks being performed.

• Study shop drawings to be constructed, and plans sequence of cutting from cutlist.

• Trims component parts of joints to ensure snug fit, using hand tools such as planes, chisels, or wood files.

• May install hardware, such as hinges, catches, and drawer pulls.

• May assist others with daily tasks , techniques, and jobs.

• Uses machinery in a proper and safe manner.

• May act as lead on smaller individual projects as needed.

• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications include:

• Must be able to work in a production facility with/without air conditioning and with production noise and dust.

• Must be willing to work occasional overtime as required.

• Capable of lifting or moving up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis, 25 pounds on a constant basis, and standing for long periods of time

• Prefer at least 5 or more years in millwork and/or finish carpentry.
